As I write this from my niece's house, I am once more without a home. Yesterday, I closed on the sale of my house. For the most part, I am relieved that it's done and I can move forward. Part of me is a little sad because I'm leaving my dogs, who are buried there. I know they will always be in my heart, though.

This week, I traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, for work. I didn't see much of Cleveland, though. But it was chilly, and I saw snow falling through the windows of the training center several times. I love watching Snowfall.

I'm on a learning curve for traveling. If you have any travel tips, please let me know. I've been searching YouTube videos and websites. One of my nieces gifted me with some safety devices for my hotel and an AirTag for my luggage. I need to buy a water bottle (because I foolishly packed mine) to take with me. It's cheaper to refill at the airport than to buy bottled water. I learned that it's wise to take some protein bars as a snack with me. It's fun figuring out all these little tricks. I signed up for the Starbucks app so that some of my coworkers staying closer to the Starbucks could grab all our drinks and bring them to class for us!

I'm back in SC for a few days, then I'm off to New Orleans on Sunday for the next eight days. It will be filled with long work days, lots of information, and fun nights out with co-workers. Everyone has made me feel so welcome and immediately part of the team.

I think I got the townhouse rental I've been looking at in Boise. More about that later. It's rather freeing not having a home, though. I love the flexibility of that - the choices and the possibilities. It might be too scary or unsettling for some people - but I'm learning to embrace uncertainty. We never know what's in store for us in life. I try to live every moment - no matter where I am, who I'm with, or what I have. Honestly, you don't need very much to live. As the saying goes, you can't take it with you....
