Cleveland, New Orleans and Covid

Hello from NC. Yes, I'm still in NC. The last two weeks have been travel to Cleveland, OH for training (no pics as I was inside the whole 3-4 days, but it did snow a little) and then for eight days straight to New Orleans for a work symposium/training event. Most of the pics below are from New Orleans - a magical place. I've been there a few times previously. The first picture is a Christmas tree in Jackson Square (they used to sing Christmas carols there by candlelight on Christmas Eve - not sure if they still do post-COVID). The second picture is the mule, JellyRoll, who pulled our carriage for a spooky tour of the French Quarter. He was quite the character and more fun than the tour guide. LOL. The third picture is a drink at the Vampire Cafe - they served wine in "blood bags"! It was so cool. The fourth picture is the quintessential Cafe Du Monde, home of the world-famous beignets. The last picture (don't try to click on any arrows; it doesn't work) is a summer picture of the townhouse I rented in Boise, Idaho.
So far, I'm enjoying the travel and my new Co-workers. I met part of my new West Zone team in New Orleans. The current plan is to fly out to Boise on January 2nd to take possession of my townhouse. I'm starting to rack up the miles. I'm not sure where I'm headed in January yet. The tricky part is getting my driver's license and address changed on everything to Boise before I have to fly again - or they won't let me on the plane.
I'm supposed to have two weeks over the holiday to work from home. However, it seems that Covid has finally caught up with me. I've dodged it for the last three years - so I suppose it's my turn. Hopefully, I can still get some visit time with my family before I leave. At the moment, I'm writing this in the basement apartment of my niece's house. She and her husband have been a godsend through all this!
I'll update again when I get to Boise!

What cool pics, JellyRoll looks like a real character☺️🫏 Take care of yourself and try to get as much rest as you can, so many adventures ahead!!🥰
